WIP - Walter

A few days ago i saw this old guy in a Danish newspaper, and thought ’what a great face to sculpt’. So that’s what I did! ;)

WIP –He still needs a lot of texture work; need to paint the epidermal, weight and subdermal maps to give it more life, and set up the SSS shader in maya. Don’t know when I’ll find the time, so that’s why I post this WIP now. Tomorrow morning I’ll be hiking around Hald Sø, and after that it’s back to school.

Spring cleaning

Today i went through that massive pile of drawings on my table that was threatening to fall over and kill someone. Here are a few of them; The drawings are in no particular order done between august 2010 and now. Think most of them are between 30 sec and 5 minutes –yes I know, very specific ;)

Project Q

For the last 3 months I have been working on building this strange quadruped that is a mix between a hyena, a warthog, a bat and an okapi. I feel it was great fun to build the creature in 3d, and seeing it come to live thanks to Stine Agerskov Frandsen who animated it.
