turning the freak into 3d


I was pretty quick to block out my scene, and establish a camera that fit my sketches.

Then i threw in a blockout of my character

This is the final model and uvmapping of my character in bindpose, and then to riggin and throwing it in to the modelled environment

As you can see, i changed the pose of the character a bit to make him look more relaxed

Circus Freak project

I am now in the middle of a 7-week project at school. The output of this should be one still image with a non realistic humanoid character. The overall theme of the project is 'Circus Freak Show'

This week we had to rig a character. I used the white-trash giraffe-character i already had build, and made a better rig for it. The last day of this week was used to animate and composite the video

This was a group project I did with Fie. She did the background, and I did the character. Unfortunately Maya kept crashing on me, so I wasted a lot of time redoing stuff. The character is still in bindpose on the renderimage, and I didn't have time to fix this...

Week 37 - Characterdesign with Julia Bracegirdle

The week with Julia was very challenging. She tried very hard to teach us to do original designs, while most of us tried to make pretty characters. In the middle of the week Nikki and I did this awesome silhouette film...
