Project Q

For the last 3 months I have been working on building this strange quadruped that is a mix between a hyena, a warthog, a bat and an okapi. I feel it was great fun to build the creature in 3d, and seeing it come to live thanks to Stine Agerskov Frandsen who animated it.

Trailer project

Hi guys, first update since the summer holiday... yeah, should drop by more often. But here it finally is; the thing we've been working on since school started this summer. We had to change the setting and re-artdirect the movie Il Postino, and make a 30 second trailer for it. Enjoy!

Character design - golfer

So, this is where my last 5 weeks went. First a week of playing with clay, then 3 weeks of 3d-modelling and sculpting, and then this last week of rendering, and presenting the stuff

Timelapse

This was a 3-week project where we were to furnish a premade room with models we found/made.
Most of the stuff is done in maya with mental-ray phys sun/sky, but the water in the background is done in fusion

Film-Jam!

Working with guys from the other classes at the school and Amy Winfrey as director, we were to make a one minute animation. Amy who had previously worked on South Park suggested to use the same technique with cut-out animation in maya. Turned out to be really fun!

Color week

After practising a few days with acrylics, we were asked to do a non-character centric painting for The Little Red Riding Hood

Here's my initial sketch:

Extended space

In the architecture week with Guillermo Yanguez we had to analyse a painting by Edward Hopper, and try to extend the space of the painting to tell a story.

On Thursday afternoon
Guillermo came up with the wonderful idea that I should do my interpretation for the next morning in 3d -gee thanks 'Big G'

But then again, it was fun to see what I could throw together in one night
